The World Food Programme (WFP) confirmed on Saturday the "urgent need for aid to reach the Gaza Strip, as food stocks dwindle," and the Israeli occupation continues to close the crossings as part of its starvation policy, as part of its genocide against Palestinians.
The UN programme reiterated its warning that "hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in Gaza are at risk of severe hunger and malnutrition as food stocks dwindle and Israel continues to close the crossings."
In a post on its X account, it stressed the "urgent need for urgent aid to reach the Gaza Strip."
The World Food Programme warned on Thursday that thousands of Palestinians in Gaza are once again facing the risk of severe hunger and malnutrition as food stocks in the Strip dwindle and the crossings are closed to aid.
