The Zionist enemy continued its crimes and massacres in the Gaza Strip on the blessed day of Eid al-Fitr, targeting children as they played in their Eid clothes, trying to wrest joy from the jaws of the war that has ravaged their childhood. Their killing has become a daily occurrence before the eyes and ears of a deaf world.
Since dawn on Sunday, according to the Palestinian Sanad News Agency, 23 civilians, the majority of whom were women and children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes and artillery shelling that struck several areas.
Press and medical sources reported that airstrikes targeted tents and homes in Khan Yunis, killing 17 people, including children wearing Eid clothes.
On the eve of Eid, children in Gaza traded their Eid clothes for shrouds wrapped around their bodies. Five children were killed last night in an attack on a home and a tent housing displaced persons in Khan Yunis.

The death toll since March 18 has reached 921, in addition to 2,054 injuries. Local sources reported that Kamel Abdel Jawad Al-Akkad was killed this afternoon, and several others were injured in an enemy strike that targeted the Al-Akkad family home in central Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
