Gaza – Saba:
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) considered, on Sunday, the Israeli Cabinet's approval of a new settlement project to pave strategic roads linking settlements and isolating Palestinian towns, particularly around the Ma'ale Adumim settlement in occupied Jerusalem, a dangerous escalation in Judaization and land-grabbing schemes.
In a press statement reported by the Palestinian Safa News Agency, the PFLP said that the project is part of a systematic settlement policy aimed at imposing a new settlement reality that consolidates the occupation's control over Jerusalem and further strangles the Palestinian presence, in an attempt to forcibly displace the indigenous population.
The PFLP added that these decisions constitute systematic ethnic cleansing, as they deepen the isolation of Palestinian towns, accelerate forced displacement plans, and strengthen the occupation's grip on Jerusalem, consolidating the apartheid regime.
The Front pointed out that the occupation's continued implementation of these settlement projects would not have occurred without the unlimited American support that provides political and financial cover for these crimes, reaffirming the US administration's complicity in the aggression against our people.
It explained that confronting these plans requires escalating resistance in all its forms and strengthening national unity in the face of the war of extermination, displacement, and Judaization schemes, and settlement projects.
