Ibb - Saba:
Today, in Ibb Governorate, the second phase of the Jabal Aqd and Al-Safi water rehabilitation project in Al-Makhader District was inaugurated. The project, costing 87 million and 315 thousand riyals, is funded by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit.
The project includes the completion of the rehabilitation of the water network and its accessories. The first phase, which was previously implemented at a cost of 109 million and 729 thousand riyals, included pipe supply and tank restoration.
Officials confirmed that the project will improve water services for approximately 30,000 citizens in five districts in the region, praising the role of the Interventions Unit in supporting rural water projects in the governorate.
This project is part of efforts to improve water infrastructure in rural areas of Yemen.
