Hamas Official: No New Ceasefire Proposals
Hamas Official: No New Ceasefire Proposals
[Wed, 09 Apr 2025 14:24:38 +0300]

Bethlehem - (Saba):
Hussam Badran, a member of Hamas's political bureau abroad, confirmed that the ideas currently being proposed regarding a ceasefire in Gaza are incomplete.

Badran said in an interview with Agence France-Presse that Hamas is interested in returning to the ceasefire agreement, but that no new initiative has yet been put forward by the mediators.

He explained that the movement is open to proposals, but criticized the United States, which he said is not a neutral mediator but rather supports the enemy and refuses to negotiate.

He concluded by saying, "It is impossible for the war to continue forever, and we insist on stopping the fighting and bloodshed."
