Gaza – Saba:

Khaled al-Qaddoumi, the representative of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), confirmed in Tehran the movement's rejection of any agreement "that does not include a cessation of aggression, the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy's army from Gaza, and the implementation of a serious exchange deal."

During a political meeting in Tehran on Tuesday, al-Qaddoumi said that "any ceasefire proposal that does not take into account the interests of our people will not be workable."

He pointed out that "there is a consensus among our people and its national and Islamic factions to reject any agreement that does not completely halt the aggression, guarantee the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy's army from the Gaza Strip, and achieve a serious exchange deal."

He added, "In the current situation, the word 'catastrophe' is not enough to describe the extremely critical situation in Gaza," noting that the genocide is taking place with the green light from the United States and Western countries.

He stressed that "the matter today goes beyond declaring a position, support, and backing for Gaza. Rather, practical steps and effective pressure campaigns must be taken in Islamic countries in support of Palestine." He emphasized that many Arab and Islamic countries have not taken any practical steps to stop the crimes of the occupation army.

Al-Qaddoumi considered the global and widespread boycott of the Zionist entity to be an important and effective means of resistance to confront and besiege it, explaining that the Zionist entity seeks to occupy more Palestinian and Arab territories and continue to commit massacres, as part of its goal of establishing the "State of Israel."
