On Friday, April 18, 2025, Ibb Governorate witnessed 120 massive marches under the slogan "Standing Firm with Gaza in the Face of the US-Israeli Escalation," affirming popular steadfastness and support for the Palestinian cause.
The marches were distributed across the governorate's various districts, with thousands of citizens participating, along with local officials, including Governor Abdul Wahid Salah and members of the House of Representatives and the Shura Council. They reiterated their unwavering support for Gaza in the face of the US-Zionist aggression.
The participants emphasized that the US aggression will not succeed in influencing the Yemeni position, and that the people of Yemen will continue to support Palestine and its valiant resistance. They expressed their condemnation of the Arab and Islamic silence regarding the crimes and violations against the Palestinian people, particularly in Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The demonstrators also renewed their mandate to the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, to take whatever decisions he deems appropriate to respond to the US escalation and support the Palestinian cause.
