Sana'a - Saba:
A meeting held on Saturday in Sana'a, chaired by Deputy Prime Minister for Local Administration and Rural Development, Mohammed Al-Madani, discussed the tasks of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and its role in nurturing children and youth.
The meeting, attended by Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlad, his deputy Nabeh Abu Shawsa, and other officials, addressed the integrated role of relevant authorities in ensuring the success of summer programs and activities, as well as the initiatives of the government of Change and Construction in enhancing care for youth.
Al-Madani listened to a detailed explanation from Minister Al-Mawlad, Deputy Chairman of the Higher Committee for Summer Activities and Programs, his deputy Abu Shawsa, and other officials about the key programs implemented by the ministry and the necessary support for their execution.
Officials highlighted the summer programs aimed at fostering faith-based upbringing, capacity-building, and skill development in religious, scientific, cultural, creative, and sports fields.
During the meeting, Al-Madani emphasized the government's commitment to transforming youth and sports work and strengthening partnerships to ensure the success of summer activities. He stressed the importance of these programs in equipping youth with beneficial knowledge and skills, enabling them to counter the conspiracies of the nation’s enemies, who seek to undermine faith-based identity and corrupt youth through misguided ideologies and soft wars.
Al-Madani underscored the collective responsibility in nurturing youth, empowering innovators, and reinforcing the role of summer schools in instilling faith-based identity and building young leaders who uphold Yemen’s principles and stand firm against the nation’s adversaries.
He affirmed that Yemen remains strong through its Quranic-rooted generation, unbreakable on the fronts of dignity and honor, just as its armed forces steadfastly support Gaza with strength and pride. He called on local authorities to enhance cooperation for the success of youth and sports programs.
Meanwhile, the Youth and Sports Minister and his deputy affirmed the ministry’s dedication to its responsibilities in youth development, despite challenges. They praised the support of revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik Al-Houthi, Supreme Political Council Chairman Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, and the government for youth programs.
Al-Mawlad and Abu Shawsa also commended the heroic achievements of the armed forces in confronting the nation’s enemies , supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza and other occupied territories.
