Sana'a - Saba:
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has called on all citizens and legal entities to promptly hand over all Starlink terminals and equipment by no later than May 1, 2025.
In a statement obtained by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), the ministry emphasized that the devices must be submitted to the nearest office of the Public Telecommunication Corporation, which has branches across all provinces and districts. A written receipt should be obtained as proof of compliance to avoid legal consequences, as these terminals and devices are prohibited.
The ministry warned that after the specified deadline, field campaigns will be carried out in coordination with security authorities to seize any prohibited Starlink terminals found in use, trade, installation, or possession. Violators will face penalties and fines in accordance with applicable laws.
For further inquiries, the Ministry of Communications has designated a toll-free number: 8000080.
