The Israeli occupation forces continue their aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp for the 97th consecutive day, with an escalation in bulldozing, burning of homes, and the conversion of several into military barracks.
Bashir Matahin, Director of the Public Relations Department at the Jenin Municipality, confirmed that the occupation forces forced 20 families to leave their homes in the Zahraa area, while Israeli forces stormed several neighborhoods and terrorized residents without recording any arrests.
Occupation forces continue to demolish the camp amid a media blackout. Approximately 600 homes have been completely destroyed, while the rest have been partially destroyed and rendered uninhabitable.
The occupation forces have also surrounded the camp with four iron barriers and earth mounds, transforming it into a closed military zone.
The number of displaced people has reached more than 22,000, and 380 homes have been forcibly evacuated in the city, in addition to the complete evacuation of 3,470 homes in the camp and other areas.
Since the beginning of the aggression, 39 citizens have been killed, dozens injured, and dozens of arrests have been recorded.
