Supreme Political Council member Sultan Al-Saami strongly condemned the brutal crime committed by US aggression through its direct targeting of an African migrants' shelter in Saada city, leaving dozens dead and wounded.
In a statement to Yemen News Agency (SABA), Al-Saami affirmed that this crime represents a blatant violation of all international and humanitarian laws and norms, clearly exposing the aggressive policies pursued by the United States in targeting civilians without any moral restraint.
He noted this massacre joins a series of assaults and violations committed by aggressor forces against the Yemeni people and residents since the beginning of the war, holding the US fully legally and morally responsible for these crimes and their humanitarian consequences.
Al-Saami called on the international community, the UN, and human rights organizations to condemn this horrific crime and take urgent action to stop aggression on Yemen, ending the suffering of Yemenis facing the gravest violations.
He stressed the necessity of forming an independent international investigation committee to hold perpetrators accountable, emphasizing that such crimes only strengthen the Yemeni people's resolve to defend their sovereignty.
Al-Saami warned that civilian blood will haunt aggressors as an everlasting curse, affirming people's will cannot be broken, no matter how severe the challenges become
