Sana'a - Saba:
The Minister of Youth and Sports, Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid, honored Captain Mohammed Rawa'h, President of the Yemeni Wushu Kung Fu Federation, who won the position of First Vice President of the Arab Federation for the sport in the elections held in Cairo, Egypt, last May.

The honoring ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, Nabih Abu Shawsa, and the Undersecretary for Sports Affairs, Ali Hadban. Dr. Al-Mawlid emphasized that honoring sports talents is a tribute to the nation and to the efforts of federations striving to raise Yemen's flag in regional and international forums.

He noted that the ministry continues to support efforts aimed at developing Yemeni sports and providing opportunities for athletes to participate in international competitions and achieve honorable results. He also stressed the importance of teamwork and emulating outstanding models in various federations.

Meanwhile, Deputy Minister Nabih Abu Shawsa expressed pride in the representation of Yemeni cadres in leadership positions within the Arab sports system. He affirmed that Captain Mohammed Rawa'h's victory in this prestigious position reflects the confidence, competence, and ability of Yemeni talents to excel and compete.

He described this achievement as clear evidence of the prominent status Yemeni sports can attain in the Arab world, strengthening bonds of cooperation among nations.
