London - Saba:
Amnesty International described the British Foreign Secretary's statements regarding the suffering of civilians in the Gaza Strip as "empty rhetoric," criticizing what it considered a complete lack of political will and effective leadership on the part of the British government to confront what it described as the "genocide" being committed by the Israeli enemy in Gaza.
In a statement, the organization said, "The recent joint statement issued by the British government on the situation in Gaza lacks any resolve, leadership, or practical action that could help stop the grave violations being committed against Palestinians."
