Doha – Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas on Friday issued an appeal to the Arab and Islamic nations and all free people around the world to continue escalating popular mobilization against the Zionist aggression, genocide, and starvation campaign in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA), Hamas affirmed that the Palestinian people in Gaza are still facing a comprehensive war of extermination, with starvation and famine being used as tools of warfare to break their resilience.
The movement stated that the ongoing siege, the denial of food and medicine, the closure of border crossings, and the deaths of children and patients from hunger are crimes against humanity that will not be forgotten or forgiven over time.
“We call on the masses of our Arab and Islamic nation and all free people of the world to continue and escalate all forms of public mobilization,” the statement read, “including protests in front of Israeli, American, and supporting countries’ embassies every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday — and on all upcoming days — until the aggression stops and the famine in Gaza ends.”
Hamas added: “In honor of the martyrs’ blood, especially that of the leader Ismail Haniyeh (Abu Al-Abed), and in response to his final call before his martyrdom, we urge that Sunday, August 3, be declared a national, Arab, Islamic, and international day of solidarity with Gaza, Al-Quds, Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the prisoners — a day of ongoing mobilization until the genocide and starvation war against our people in Gaza ends, and until the occupation is defeated from all our land.”
