Gaza – Saba:
Twenty-five Palestinian civilians were martyred and 80 others injured on Friday after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on crowds waiting to receive humanitarian aid in southern and northern Gaza.
According to Sanad News Agency, ten Palestinians were martyred and others injured after Israeli enemy forces opened fire on aid seekers near al-Muwarraj corridor in southern Gaza. The incident coincided with a publicity visit by U.S. envoy David Satterfield to oversee the aid distribution process.
The agency also reported that at least 15 others were martyred while waiting for aid in the Zikim corridor in northern Gaza. The wounded—among them children and members of local security teams—were transferred to Sheikh Radwan Clinic and al-Shifa Medical Complex.
Israeli enemy forces continue to commit daily atrocities against Palestinians waiting for aid in Gaza, under the so-called “Israeli-American humanitarian mechanism” supervised by the so-called “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation” since its launch on May 27.
Earlier on Friday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the total number of Palestinians martyred while seeking aid and who have reached hospitals since May 27 has risen to 1,383, with over 9,218 others injured.
Meanwhile, the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) in the occupied Palestinian territory reported that 1,373 Palestinians have been martyred—most by Israeli gunfire—while trying to access food since late May.
The UN office noted that of those killed, 859 were martyred near the so-called "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" aid sites, while 514 were targeted along food convoy routes.
