Sana'a, Saba:
The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has forecast scattered thunderstorms in parts of several governorates, and rough seas due to strong winds over the next 24 hours.
The center reported in its weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity, accompanied by hail, are likely to fall on parts of the governorates of Hajjah, Mahweet, Amran, western Sana'a, Dhamar, Raymah, Ibb, Taiz, Dhale'a, Bayda, and the highlands of Lahj, Abyan, and Shabwah.
Scattered rain, sometimes accompanied by thunder, is expected in parts of the governorates of Saada, Jawf, Marib, Hodeida, Hadhramaut, Al Mahrah, and the Tihama Plain.
The center indicated strong to very strong winds around the Socotra Archipelago, the Gulf of Aden, and the eastern and southern coasts.
The rainfall measured at meteorological stations in Ibb over the past 24 hours was 14 mm, Mahwit 6.6 mm, Raymah 4.1 mm, Dhamar 3.6 mm, Hodeida 3.5 mm, Bayda 2.4 mm, and Shabwa 2.3 mm.
Scattered rains fell on parts of the governorates of Saada, Hajjah, Jawf, Marib, Sana'a, Taiz, Abyan, Lahj, Aden, Hadramaut, and Mahrah, but were outside the stations' range.
The center warned citizens of thunderstorms and being in or crossing floodwaters during and after rainfall, as well as of mudslides and rockfalls on mountain roads.
It also warned seafarers, fishermen, and ship captains of rough seas and high waves around the Socotra Archipelago, in the Gulf of Aden, and along the southern and eastern coasts.
