Sana’a - Saba:
A meeting chaired by Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Water Resources Dr. Radwan al-Rubai, was held on Tuesday in Sana’a to discuss preparations for celebrating the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.
The meeting, attended by key ministry officials, emphasized highlighting the Prophet’s Quranic character and his jihad against injustice, linking this to the current struggle against normalization and corruption.
Minister al-Rubai stressed the importance of this occasion as a moment to raise awareness of the Prophet’s status and draw lessons from his life to confront today’s challenges. He urged a return to divine traditions and adherence to the Quran as the path out of crises.
The minister called for activating nationwide tree-planting initiatives during the celebration, involving ministries, institutions, and communities, using the occasion to promote values of charity and good deeds. He praised pioneering examples like a school’s initiative to cultivate coffee seedlings.
He also recommended organizing a schedule of events including seminars, cultural evenings, and mobilization activities, making use of past speeches by the Revolution Leader and the event’s official booklet.
