The death toll from the Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip has risen to 61,020 martyrs and 150,671 injured since October 7, 2023, as of Tuesday.
The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza reported in its daily statistical update on the number of martyrs and wounded due to the Israeli aggression—received by the Yemeni News Agency (SABA)—that hospitals in the Strip received 87 martyrs (including 8 recovered bodies) and 644 injuries in the past 24 hours.
The ministry stated that the total number of martyrs and injuries since March 18, 2025, until today has reached 9,519 martyrs and 38,630 injuries.
It also reported that 52 martyrs and over 352 injured from aid-related incidents arrived at hospitals in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of "bread-seeking martyrs" to 1,568 martyrs and over 11,230 injuries.
The ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under rubble or on the roads, as rescue and civil defense teams remain unable to reach them.
Regarding deaths from starvation and malnutrition, the ministry confirmed that Gaza’s hospitals recorded 8 new fatalities in the past 24 hours, including 1 child and 7 adults, raising the total number of starvation-related deaths to 188 martyrs, including 94 children.
