Moscow - Saba: An earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale struck Tuesday off the coast of Russia's Kamchatka Peninsula, which recently experienced one of the strongest earthquakes in recorded history.
The regional branch of the United Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences explained in a post on its Telegram channel that "the distance from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is 234 kilometers (145 miles). The depth is 64.8 kilometers. The earthquake's magnitude is 6."
