SANAA, July 19 (Saba) - Minister of Industry and Trade Abdul Wahab Yahya Al-Durrah praised on Sunday the commercial sector's role in achieving the commercial stability for food and basic commodities in markets.
During his meeting with several traders of the private sector, Al-Durrah pointed to the ministry's keenness to enhance cooperation with the commercial sector and provide facilities as well as protecting the citizen from any commercial fraud.
He touched on the Ministry's efforts to maintain market stability and prices, calling to encourage competition and prevent monopoly, noting to address any problems facing the commercial sector.
The minister called for not accepting any inspection or control process except by an official mandate from the ministry and its offices in the governorates or paying any financial amounts for making commercial violations.
He urged workers and staff in factories, food stores, malls and commercial stores to adhere to the preventive measures for combating Covid-19.
