
SANAA, Sep. 3 (Saba) - Governor of Sanaa Abdulbasit al-Hadi has received 22 recently released prisoners of the army and popular committees.
At the meeting, which was attended by a number of officials, social figures, and families of the released on Wednesday, the governor al-Hadi praised the sacrifices of the prisoners in facing the forces of aggression and its tools.
Al-Hadi hailed the efforts of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the National Committee for Prisoners' Affairs which resulted in the release of prisoners despite the other side's procrastination.
The Governor of Sanaa stressed that the continuation of the aggression in committing its crimes and its siege on the Yemeni people will not affect its resilience in the face of the forces of aggression.
For his part, the governor's first undersecretary Hamid Assem saluted the prisoners' courage and steadfastness despite the suffering they suffered in the aggression prisons, pointing to the aggression’s intransigence in dealing with the prisoners’ file and its indifference to the prisoners who belong to it.
For their part, the freed prisoners affirmed that they would continue on the path of glory, noting that their stay in the aggression prisons only increased their faith, strength, and steadfastness.
