SANAA, Sep. 30 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi Al-Mashat on Wednesday chaired a meeting of the justice system, in the presence of the Supreme Political Council's members Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi and Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, and Head of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Ahmed Al-Mutawakel.
At the meeting, President Al-Mashat indicated that the justice system was supposed to be the first track to be completed in 2020, stressing the importance of full coordination between the organs of the justice system to overcome obstacles.
The President added, "The most important thing that we can offer to the citizen is establishing justice and redressing the oppressed."
The meeting dealt with the challenges facing the justice system, and the proposed solutions to overcome these obstacles to developing and activating the judiciary and proceeding with the implementation of the national vision for building the modern state, considering that reforming the judiciary system is one of the main pillars for the success of the vision and its implementation in the 2020 plan.
The meeting included Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, Interior Minister Major General Abdulkarim Al-Houthi, Justice Minister Judge Dr. Muhammad Al-Dailami, Attorney General Judge Nabil Al-Azzani, Head of the Security and Intelligence Service Major General Abdulhakim Al-Khaiwani, and Head of the Technical Unit for the National Vision of the Judicial Authority Judge Abdulwahab Al-Mahbashi.
