SANA'A, Jan. 09 (Saba) - The people of Mahra province have denounced foreign interventions aimed at obliterating Mahra's identity.
In a statement issued by the committee of a peaceful protest held on Thursday, they censured the decision of the mercenaries' education office in the province to name a number of schools in Mahra after Saudi cities.
The decision named 8 schools in al-Ghaydah, Heswain, Qishn, Sayhut, al-Masilah and Hawf districts after the names of Saudi cities of "Dammam, Riyadh, Diri'ayah , Abha, Tabuk, Madina, Taif, and Mecca," the statement read.
It considered such moves as interventions in the Yemeni affairs and the privacy of the people of Mahra.
