HODEIDA, May 13 (Saba) - The Agricultural and Higher Fisheries Commission, on Thursday, launched the third phase of the agricultural revolution in Hodeida province.
The inauguration is coordinated by the Provincial Local Council, the Ministries of Agriculture, Irrigation, Fisheries, Local Administration, Social Affairs and Labor, the Agricultural Cooperative Federation, the Red Sea Fisheries Authority, and the Tahama Coast Fisheries Cooperative Society.
During the inauguration, the governorate of Hodeida, Mohamed Ayash Ghahim, noted the importance of launching the third phase of the agricultural revolution to bring about a qualitative shift in the agricultural field and promote the agricultural and fishery sectors.
He highlighted the importance of concerted efforts and effective action to achieve food security in order to achieve self-sufficiency. Called on the private sector to invest in the agricultural and fishery sectors, under the State's direction to encourage investment in various enterprises and fields.
