SANA'A, May. 15 (Saba) - Justice Minister Judge Nabil Nasser Al-Azani met on Sunday with the Acting Resident Representative of OHCHR, in Sana'a Safeer al-Deen Said.
During the meeting, they discussed cooperation and coordination between the two sides in promoting human rights and the rule of law, improving judicial services, and spreading a culture of the rule of law.
The meeting addressed the importance of providing legal aid to children in conflict with the law, women in conflict with the law, after serving their sentences, establishing social welfare homes and reintegrating them into society, as well as promoting legal and judicial awareness of the importance of recourse to justice and ways and mechanisms for obtaining judicial assistance for those in need.
At the meeting, the Minister of Justice stressed the importance of the role of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in carrying out its role and informing international public opinion of the crimes of US-Saudi aggression against the Yemeni people and the violation of human rights.
