SANA'A, June 01 (Saba) - The first flight from Egypt arrived on Wednesday at Sana'a International Airport, carrying 145 passengers on board.
The Airbus A320 plane of Yemen Airways, the national carrier, received all air navigation and ground services, with high technical professionalism, in accordance with the requirements and conditions of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
This is the seventh civilian commercial flight, out of 16 flights within the two-month humanitarian truce announced by the United Nations in early April.
The Director General of Sana'a International Airport Khaled Al-Shayef said in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the airport received the first flight from Cairo after a hiatus of more than six years.
He confirmed that the airport provides the required services to the passengers, with high technical professionalism, ensuring the security and safety of the passengers and the civil aviation.
