SANA'A, Jun. 11 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council, met on Saturday with rector of Sa'ada University Dr. Abdulrahim Al-Humran.
The meeting discussed the achievements made by the university during the last period, the opening of new departments as well as its role in improving administrative performance in line with the technological and technical developments of universities.
The meeting touched on Sa'ada University's efforts to develop curricula in various faculties aimed at improving academic education and meeting the requirements of the labor market.
President al-Mashat praised the successes achieved by Sa'ada University in a record period, despite the conditions the country is going through as a result of the continued aggression and siege and the scarcity of capabilities.
Al-Mashat touched upon the systematic targeting of the University of Sa'ada by the countries of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression coalition in an attempt to disrupt academic education which requires the integration of efforts to restore the course of academic education in accordance with the plans and programs for that.
The President referred to the role of Yemeni universities in developing and building the capacities of Yemeni youth, developing their skills in various fields, and contributing to finding research and studies that serve local development.
