Giant ship leaves Ashihr port after looting large Yemeni crude oil shipment
[12/ June/2022]

SANA'A, June 12 (Saba) - An official said that the giant ship "Apolytares", which left Ashihr port in Hadramout province, has looted more than 2 million barrels of crude oil.

The giant tanker had arrived a few days ago at Ashihr port and loaded more than 2 million barrels of crude oil, with a total value of more than $270 million, according to oil prices on the international stock exchange, which is equivalent to 162 billion Yemeni riyals.

The official indicated that the looting of crude oil comes in light of the continued organized looting of the revenues of crude oil and Yemeni wealth by the mercenaries of the aggression.

The shipment alone is sufficient to cover the Yemeni employees' salaries in all provinces for 2 months.

According to navigational websites, the ship will unload its cargo in Thai port of Sriracha.
