SANA'A, Jun. 30 (Saba) - Mahra governor al-Qaatabi al-Farji warned of dangerous plots carried out by the Saudi-Emirati occupation coalition targeting the province Mahra and its people in general.
In a statement to Saba, al-Farji indicated that the Mahri society's great rejection of the Saudi-Emirati military presence contributed greatly to the attempts of the occupying countries to target the province and its people and drag it into the conflict square.
He stressed that the escalation of popular anger against the foreign presence in Mahra is an indication of the approaching battle to liberate the province from the occupiers and their mercenaries, and the beginning of a new phase of actual resistance to liberation and the failure of the occupation’s plans and tools in the province.
The Governor of Mahra pointed out that the arrival of a number of large arms shipments on board military ships to the port of Nashton and British and American military trainers at al-Ghaydah International Airport in conjunction with the entry of the narcotic drug, Shabu, by the occupation forces an attempt to spread and distribute it in Mahri community and the areas under occupation, representing another evidence to target the people of Mahra and flood the occupied provinces in general with drugs.
He stated that these attempts seek to facilitate the implementation of their malicious projects, destroy young people and distract them from their main goal of expelling the occupation and confronting its suspicious projects.
The governor of Mahra indicated that the occupation is trying to complete control over strategic areas and ports and build military bases, under the supervision and complicity of the so-called Presidential Command Council, which has become the most important tools of the aggression countries to loot the country's wealth.
He noted that the popular movements led by the peaceful sit-in committee in the province enjoy great popular and societal support, stressing that the people of Mahra have the determination to expel the Saudi-Emirati occupation within the framework of a national project that includes all the Yemeni people to expel the occupation from every inch of the homeland and build the Yemeni state.
