SANA'A, Jul. 19 (Saba) - Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Abdullah Daris on Tuesday paid a visit to the Yemeni Company for Oil and Mineral Investments, during which he was briefed on the status and activities of the company.
During the visit, Daris pointed to the importance of the company's role in investing in all oil, gas and mineral fields, stressing the need to prepare studies for the operation of the oil sectors.
The Oil Minister confirmed the ministry's interest to enable the company to perform its role as required, praising the efforts of the company's leadership and employees in light of the difficult conditions that Yemen is going through as a result of the aggression and siege.
He urged to redouble efforts and work according to a time-bound plan within the framework of the national vision to build the modern Yemeni state.
For his part, company's director Eng. Ahmed Harmal touched on the company's situation and the difficulties facing its activities and ways to address them.
