MOSCOW, Aug. 20 (Saba) - In a statement on Friday, Russian company Gazprom announced that gas supplies via the Northern Torrent Pipeline "Nord Stream" will be completely discontinued during the period from August 31 to September 2 for periodic maintenance.
The statement from the company added that on August 31, 2022, the single operating gas pumping unit (turbine) will be suspended for three days to conduct periodic scheduled preventive services and maintenance work and a series of routine maintenance work will be carried out in accordance with the current maintenance contract with the participation of specialists from Siemens. "
The statement quoted by Russia Today stated that "upon completion of the work and the absence of technical breakdowns in the unit, the transport of gas will return to the level of 33 million cubic meters per day."
