SANA'A, Sep. 03 (Saba) - The Representatives House congratulated the Revolution Leader of Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, for the advanced level reached by the Yemeni armed forces, which was reflected in the presentation of the Fifth Military District, Victory Brigades, Navy and Air Forces in Hodeida.
The Council praised, in its session on Saturday chaired by the Speaker of the Council, Yahya Ali Al-Ra’i, for the symbolic parade of new naval missiles and weapons that entered service, in addition to long and medium-range missiles capable of striking any hostile targets at sea.
The members of the Council stressed that the majestic military parade was the culmination of the military parades that took place in a number of military regions, which delighted the hearts of Yemeni people.
The council members stressed that Yemeni armed forces do not pose a threat to anyone who did not conspire against Yemen, the capabilities of the Yemeni people, and do not pose a threat to international navigation in the Red Sea, but they are concerned with protecting Yemen's sovereignty along the coastal strip.
The council renewed the call for the coalition of aggression to seize the opportunity during the remainder of the truce declared under the auspices of the United Nations, and work to stop the aggression and end the siege and occupation, and not to interfere with oil derivatives ships, and to open all Yemeni ports and airports to commercial flights.
The members of the Council expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Ministry of Defense, the Chief of Staff, the Command of the Fifth Military Region and the rest of the other military regions for their efforts to train and rehabilitate the army, leading to presenting the honorable performances.
