SANA'A October 9.2022 (Saba) - Minister of Industry and Trade,
Muhammad Sharaf al-Mutahar, on Sunday affirmed keenness to support the Yemeni
General Corporation for Cement Manufacturing and Marketing to raise the level
of performance and develop work.
During a meeting held today at the Corporation, the Minister of Industry expressed his hope that the new leadership of the Corporation will be at the level of responsibility.
Al-Mutahar directed the Corporation leadership to prepare a plan to promote the work of the Corporation and advance the reality of its affiliated factories and the cement industry, urging the completion of the operating procedures for the Bajel Cement Factory and the preparation of a detailed report on the technical aspects of the plant and the level of readiness to restart it.
In turn, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Cement Corporation, Engineer Yahya Hamid Al-Din, valued the interest of the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the Corporation and the advancement of its reality. He confirmed the establishment of mechanisms to develop the work of the Corporation and its affiliated factories and to complete the restart of the production line at the Bajel Cement Factory.
