SANA'A March 05. 2023 (Saba) - The Palestinian issue remains the focus of attention of the Yemeni people and their revolutionary leadership because of the symbolism it represents, which has been reduced to the minds and consciences of Yemenis since the Balfour Declaration in which Britain granted the land of Palestine to the Zionist enemy.
Over the years, the positions of the Yemeni people in support of the Palestinian issue have multiplied, which was and will remain the central and pivotal issue for the Yemeni people who today pay the price of their positions in support of the Palestinian people and their right to establish their independent state with Al-Quds al-Sharif as its capital.
Revolution leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi in his speeches and lectures, always stops at the Palestinian issue, renewing the firm and principled position of the Yemeni people towards Palestine and its just cause, and the Yemeni people stand by the people of Palestine in the face of the daily killing and displacement they are subjected to by the Zionist enemy in full view of the world and the human conscience.
In this context, the leader says, in his last speech on the fifth anniversary of the martyr President Saleh al-Sammad "We live with the Palestinian people, their concern, pain, and suffering. It is part of us, and whatever our suffering is from aggression, siege and occupation, but in the most difficult times we still carry the burden of our Palestinians people and we feel its pain.”
He added "We realize that the cause of the Palestinian people is our cause, and that we are concerned, based on our principled position in advocating for this people and standing on their side and in solidarity with them.
Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi referred to the daily crimes the Palestinian people are exposed to at all stages, through the looting of lands, assaults on their farms, and killing with American participation.
In this regard, the Leader of the Revolution wonders: "Where are the human rights that the United States talks about when it wants to target a specific people or a country?" All these titles are neither freedom nor human rights nor the rights of a woman or a child. All legitimate Palestinian rights mean nothing to America which seeks to deprive the people of Palestine of obtaining their lawful rights .
It is regrettable that despite the tragic conditions experienced by the Palestinian people and their bitterness over the past decades, the attitudes of the world and the international community and its organizations turn a blind eye towards what the Palestinians are exposed to and suffice with denunciations and condemnations that do not satisfy hunger and are not followed by any steps realistic or tangible on the ground.
These positions were not limited to the United States, Britain and the rest of the Western countries, but extended to a number of Arab countries which rushed to openly normalize relations with the Zionist enemy after the normalization was under the table.
Al-Houthi pointed out that human rights that the United States and Western countries praise is a lie and a scandal that is evident in its practices and stances in support of the Zionist enemy in the crimes their commits against the Palestinian people.
He said "It is a scandal and disgrace for the normalizers who cooperate with the Zionist enemy and the negligent who have become supportive of it in everything it does with the Palestinian people through their supportive role in the media and in various forms.
He added "Israel's educational curricula are packed with all hostile meanings to the Arabs, which it does not consider to be human beings, at a time when the Emirati is changing its curricula and including the Holocaust and presents an unreal picture of the Zionists and their hostility to Arabs and Muslims."
He pointed out that the normalized press countries with the Zionist enemy worked to make the Palestinian issue largely absent from school curricula until it was completely absent from most curricula in most Arab and Islamic countries.
He said "They were keen to exclude everything that could build the nation and advance it, and raise its level of awareness, and this is a remarkable thing, and they achieved tangible and clear successes in it, by supporting and protecting the Zionist enemy, which represents a cancerous gland in the body of the nation."
The leader of the revolution considered the normalized presses; from the Saudi, Emirati, Bahraini and Moroccan authorities, as well as the rest of the countries that normalized and supported the Zionist enemy and entered into a scandalous relationship with it, apostate from the principles and great values of religion and a clear violation of the Holy Quran.
The international community with all its organizations stands by the Zionist enemy and justifies its criminal actions. This is what the leader al-Houthi emphasized in his speech on the anniversary of the martyr leader, saying: "They work to support the Zionist enemy, which represents a cancerous gland in the nation's body, and to protect it and ensure its military superiority" and technical support, fully siding with him, justifying its crimes and violations against the Palestinians and the rest of the peoples of our nation and providing international protection in the Security Council, the United Nations, the Human Rights Council, and international courts, all of which work in their favor."
He added "One of their biggest attacks and targeting of our Islamic nation is planting the Zionist enemy and enabling it to occupy Palestine, and supporting it to make Palestine - itself - a home and stable and a base for targeting the rest of our countries and peoples of our nation, while the Palestinian people are still living daily with oppression and continuous targeting with all kinds of injustice such as killing and imprisonment daily, the destruction of their homes, the occupation of lands, the confiscation of farms, the uprooting of their olive trees, and so on.”
The leader of the revolution praised the sacrifices of the Palestinian people and their steadfastness in carrying out the martyrdom and heroic operations that humiliate and disturb the enemy which persists in attacks, settlements, and torture of prisoners, at the same time practicing daily violations against al-Aqsa Mosque and seeking to divide some of it.
Hee added “In the face of what is happening in Palestine, we are in Yemen, and through our Qur’anic march, we must be ready for all possibilities, if matters reach a situation that requires intervention from our Islamic peoples, we are ready - as we said - time and time again to intervene on the side of our Palestinian people according to the requirements and events.”
In sum, the leader of the revolution, by evoking the past, present, and history of the Palestinian cause in his speeches, and affirming Yemen's steadfast position on the side of the Palestinian people and their right to establish their state with Jerusalem as its capital, is not a luxury, nor a bragging, or announcing and defining positions, but rather an extension of the Yemeni positions supporting, advocating, and advocating for the land of Palestine.
