Revolution Leader: Ramadan is educational station for purifying souls & possessing willpower, endurance & patience

SANA'A March 17. 2023 (Saba) - The revolution leader, Sayyid Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, considered the blessed month of Ramadan an important educational station for purifying souls and possessing willpower, endurance and patience, especially in light of the massive attack the nation is facing to mislead Islamic societies.

The leader of the revolution said in his speech this evening, during an expanded meeting of scholars and leaders in the country to receive the blessed month of Ramadan, "What characterizes the month of Ramadan, in addition to being an important educational station in which we purify ourselves and our souls, and we possess willpower in it, and we learn patience in it. One of its most important advantages is doubling the reward." , as a great double-pay season."

He pointed out the importance of this meeting to prepare for the blessed month of Ramadan. He added, "In the past years, we used to take advantage of the last Friday of the month of Sha'ban to prepare for the advent of the month of Ramadan, following the example of the Messenger of God, the Seal of the Prophets, Mohammed bin Abdullah, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family."

He explained that the Messenger, peace and blessings be upon him, was focusing on the last Friday in the month of Sha’ban, to draw attention to the month of Ramadan and prepare for it on the mental and psychological level, as it is marked by good deeds, blessings, good deeds, and multiplying the reward, and the season of faith education and piety, and the importance of seizing it, benefiting from it, and preparing for it from the month of Rajab. Down to the last Friday of Sha'ban.

He touched on what distinguishes the month of Ramadan from other months, and what is in it of blessings and goodness, pointing out that one of the most important things in the month of Ramadan is the Night of Decree in which God determines the affairs of His servants, and it is a great night in which the Holy Qur’an was revealed, with all its importance and great virtue. And the leader of the revolution stated that the month of Ramadan represents an opportunity to strengthen the relationship with the Holy Qur’an, which by emulating it achieves salvation, prosperity, victory, dignity, happiness and all goodness, in addition to the importance that the Qur’an represents and includes the divine message, teachings and previous books of God that he summarized and the guidance in it and the psychological and educational impact it has represents a connection with God.

And he stressed the importance of preparing for the night of decree from the beginning of the month, so that a person would enjoy the blessings of God and be worthy of His mercy and the goodness and grace that He bestows on His servants who turn to Him.

Sayyid Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi pointed out the importance of focusing on the Holy Qur’an, reading, listening, understanding, contemplating as this is one of the most important actions and priorities in the month of Ramadan, and investing its nights to win night of decree and what God has ordained in it of great reward and goodness.

He said, "One of the most important things related to Laylat al-Qadr is that it is the night of the revelation of the Qur'an, and it is something that draws our attention to restoring our relationship with the Qur'an, strengthening our connection with it, and striving to follow its example and we are in an era unparalleled in the potential of the prodigal forces and in the scale of the massive onslaught to mislead Muslim societies.

Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi dealt with the educational value of the month of Ramadan, as it is an annual session to get used to patience, abstaining from food, drink and desires, controlling self-desires, and strengthening will and determination.

And he stated that the month of Ramadan is a season for education, self-purification, and taming it to patience and endurance..and he said, "We need this education, getting used to patience, strengthening the will, determination, controlling one's desires, and the ability to endure. This is an important education in Islam that prepares man as an individual and the Islamic society to be a strong society because it has strength will and stamina".

He mentioned that when a person is weak in will and endurance, this affects him in his religious and worldly affairs, stressing the importance of patience as an important means to face challenges in life.

The leader of the revolution pointed out that what distinguishes the month of Ramadan is also the doubling of reward and reward in it, and a great season for a person to achieve through it what represents great stretchers in the reality of his life.

He urged the importance of benefiting from the month of Ramadan in drawing closer to God through obedience and worship, and realizing the value and importance of good deeds in life.

He called for the necessity of strengthening acts of charity, explaining that charity has a major role in strengthening social bonds and reforming the reality of society and has importance in self-purification .. He said, "People's conditions in this time require attention to charity for the poor, the needy and the hungry."

He added, "It is possible for a person to have interests in charity within personal activities, as well as within group activities, in order to achieve through cooperation great achievements and provide good assistance to many families who live in difficult circumstances."
He also urged, the need to pay attention to supplication and reminding of stationing and jihad for the sake of God in the month of Ramadan .. He said, "The reminder remains with regard to the differentiation of deeds that a person is stationed for the sake of God and the importance of jihad, its grace and greatness."

He explained that the month of Ramadan has the most prominent and important historical and jihadi events on which major changes and transformations for the nation were based.

The leader of the revolution called for attention to cleanliness before the month of Ramadan. He said, "In the past years, we urged that there be activity in the last week of Sha'ban, for cleanliness to receive the holy month, the cleanliness of cities, neighborhoods, and regions, and we can focus on that if conditions are right."
