MOSCOW June 03. 2023 (Saba) - Vyacheslav Gladkov, governor of Belgorod province, announced that five people had been killed and 16 wounded in Ukrainian shelling of the region's territory in the past 24 hours.
The governor said in a statement quoted by Russia's news website today that: "18 Grad shells were recorded falling on private residential houses in the village of Sobolevka. Unfortunately, three people died - two men died immediately from their injuries, and one woman died in the ambulance after being hit by a shrapnel. "
He added that the bombing also resulted in seven people being injured to varying degrees of gravity - six of them hospitalized, and the seventh denied hospitalization.
According to the Governor, Ukrainian forces fired 371 pieces of various ammunition into the Shibekinski area, killing two women, injuring eight people and requiring six of them to be treated in hospital.
