TAIZ June 03. 2023 (Saba) - A meeting in Taiz province discussed aspects related to matrix implementation of the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat's directives, related to the provision of road and water services to the rural areas of the province.
The Acting Governor of Taiz, Ahmed Al-Masawi, stressed in the meeting, which included a number of Shura Council members and deputy governors, and the head of the Committee of the Ministry of Local Administration, Sultan Al-Rasai, the importance of the matrix to improve services in rural areas.
He pointed to the importance of implementing the matrix at the district level, holding periodic meetings and organizing the work of the local authority in a way that contributes to improving the level of performance, stressing the importance of developing and collecting revenues in accordance with the law and preventing any amounts from being collected without official bonds.
While the Chairman of the Ministerial Committee reviewed the most important directives, which include inventorying equipment, evaluating the performance of directorates and general managers, strengthening the role of community participation in local authority initiatives, exploiting the agricultural season, providing services, improving planning for the year 1445 AH, and setting priorities.
For his part, the director of the planning office in the province, Muhammad Al-Washli, explained that the plan for the year 1445 AH will focus on road and water projects in the districts.
