OCCUPIED AL-QUDS Sep. 04. 2023 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy media has revealed that the occupying entity decided to purchase more American F-35 aircraft.
The Zionist Kan channel reported that Defense Minister Yoav Galant and the Director-General of the Ministry of War Major General Eyal Zamir as saying the ministry began purchasing the third squadron of F-35 aircraft, which will be absorbed by the Zionist enemy army in the coming months.
Kan explained that the Ministry of War will purchase 25 F-35 aircraft from Lockheed Martin in a deal that includes support and maintenance.
The channel indicated that upon completion of the deal, the aircraft fleet will be expanded to 75 of the most advanced stealth aircraft in the world operated by the Zionist enemy army, and delivery of the aircraft will begin in 2027 at a rate of three aircraft annually.
According to enemy media, the deal is worth three billion dollars in American aid money, and as part of the original agreement between the two administrations, Lockheed Martin, the aircraft manufacturer, and Pratt & Whitney, the engine manufacturer, pledged to participate with Zionist companies in the production of F-35 aircraft sold to the United States.
The new deal will enable the continued fulfillment of the commitment of American companies to cooperate in the production of aircraft spare parts with Israeli industries, including Elbit, which produces monitors and helmets.
