HODIEDA September 24. 2023 (Saba)-Hodeida Governorate crowned the manifestations of its celebrations and the momentum of its activities and events held on the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, with wide marine displays that embody the steadfastness of the people of the governorate and the extent of their love and reverence for the Great Messenger, may God bless him.
For several days, a number of the coasts of the governorate have been witnessing marine parades with dozens of boats and boats to celebrate the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday, to convey a message to the world that Yemenis adhere to the approach of the Beloved Chosen One, adhere to his morals and behavior, and draw lessons from his biography.
Marine boats dressed in green began carrying out festive displays and marine formations in the coastal city of Al Khouba, embodying the grandeur of the occasion.
The festive appearances taking place on the coast of the city of Hodeida represent a unique picture to show joy through all the boats decorated with illuminated banners that glow with the name of the Prophet Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him in Red Sea.
The performances, which are accompanied by operettas and chants from Tuhami folklore, are characterized by a unique specialness in celebrating the most important and greatest religious occasion that the people of Yemen receive annually.
The Governor's First Undersecretary, Ahmed Mahdi Al-Bishri, explained, during his participation in the inauguration of an aspect of the Mohammedan Festival on the coast of the Governorate, that the marine shows are part of the activities to celebrate the occasion, which embodies the positive interaction of the people of Hodeida.
He noted the level of hospitality that characterizes the directorates of Hodeida Governorate, and this year is witnessing an unprecedented willingness to participate in organizing religious events, seminars, festivals and evenings to commemorate this religious occasion.
Al-Bishri pointed out that the festive momentum that is spreading throughout the governorate, at the level of neighborhoods, work sectors, and coasts, reflects one of the features of the religious identity that characterizes the Yemeni people.
He considered the joyful participation and performances provided by the maritime sector with boats and fishermen as a model that reflects the insistence on commemorating the birth of the Prophet.
In turn, Assistant Governor Ghaleb Hamza expressed pride in what the performances in the waters of the Red Sea reflect, of a solid identity that brings together the love of the greatest leader in the history of mankind.
He praised the interaction of the fishermen sector and relevant authorities in implementing marine activities that express the close connection to the Prophet Muhammad and his authentic faith identity.
For his part, the director of the Ansar Allah media center in the governorate, Ibrahim Al-Zaarour, described the participation of fishermen in the celebrations commemorating the birth of the Holy Prophet, as a sign of steadfastness to consolidate the meanings of pride.
Al-Zaarour stressed that the naval parade is an icon of the legendary steadfastness of the Yemeni people despite the difficult circumstances and the repercussions of the aggression, in a message of faith, stating that Yemenis are people of faith.
The fishermen in these boats painted a beautiful picture, reflecting their eagerness to participate in the greatest celebration out of respect and glorification of the Holy Prophet.
The manifestations of the celebration of the birth anniversary of the Messenger of Humanity are expanding, as the day of Rabi’ al-Awwal approaches, through many rituals taking place in Hodeidah Governorate.
