SANA'A September 25.2023 (Saba)-His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Head of the Supreme Political Council, inaugurated today,Monday, in the capital, Sana’a, the projects of the General Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families, at a cost of three billion and 61 million riyals.

The inauguration of the projects of the Authority for the Care of Martyrs’ Families comes in the presence of the parliament speaker, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, the Supreme Judiciary, Judge Ahmed Yahya Al-Mutawakkil, and the Deputy Prime Minister for Security and Defense Affairs, Lieutenant General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan, on the occasion of Prophet’s birthday anniversary .

On the sidelines of the inauguration, the President met a number of martyrs' sons, whom he welcomed, pointing out that the masses of the Yemeni people in all provinces, especially the free zones, are celebrating the anniversary of the birth of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers be upon him and his family, in a manner befitting the greatness of this occasion and the sacrifices made by the venerable martyrs.

He said, "With these celebrations, with this momentum, we present a noble model among the peoples. We did not celebrate the birth of the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers, peace be upon him and his family for the sake of appearances only. Rather, we stain the rock with blood, and every day the life of a martyr is lost on all fronts for more than nine years. And the tone of this blood says, “At your command, O Messenger of God.”

President Al-Mashat indicated that the Yemeni people are concerned with celebrating, persevering and diligently in honoring this occasion, as they are concerned with the true Islamic religion, the Messenger, and the Qur’an, while the Americans come from across the Atlantic with the dirtiest project that calls for and promotes homosexuality.

He said, "The American comes to look inside the state institutions in the countries of the region as if he were the first and last concerned and sees that the son of the country does not have the right to do so. What logic does this have and in what world do we live? We receive threats from many foreign countries, but we tell them that we are the sons of the country of martyrs. Save yourselves." We have decided to take charge of God, His Messenger, and the leaders of guidance, so do whatever you want.”

He expressed his thanks to those present and to the General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs' Families, for the wonderful and prominent interest in the children of the great martyrs, whose concerns the state will bear and the responsibility of meeting their ambitions.

He also expressed his thanks to the General Authority for the Welfare of Martyrs’ Families for inaugurating care for all families of martyrs on the occasion of welcoming the birthday of Mercy and the birth of orphan parents, especially the families of martyrs.

The President pointed out that holding such meetings comes within the framework of great responsibility towards the children of the martyrs, in recognition of the sacrifices made by the great martyrs.

He addressed the children of the martyrs, saying, "The responsibility requires us to take care of the children of the martyrs and their families, and here is a responsibility on the children of the martyrs to continue on the path that their fathers walked. The future is yours and with you we will build our state, God Almighty willing."

He added, "You are in the prime of life and you must seize this opportunity. Your future is promising, and the sacrifices of your honorable fathers and their pure blood are the fuel for our revolution against all corruption on God's earth."

President Al-Mashat stressed that the sacrifices made by the great martyrs require everyone to preserve them, the values and principles for which they sacrificed, in building a free and independent country that is not subject to guardianship from outside or by any party in this world.

He added, "We pledge to the martyrs that we will preserve the values and principles for which they sacrificed, and the enemy will implement all the just demands of our people unless they are met with the fire of our forces and the might of our fighters."
The projects of the Martyrs’ Families Welfare Authority include providing food for the children of martyrs/missing persons for the month of Safar in the amount of one billion, 116 million and 180 thousand riyals, benefiting 55,809 people, and food support for the parents of martyrs for the month of Safar in amount of 17 million and 790 thousand riyals for 593 beneficiaries, as well as spring food support for the families of martyrs/missing persons in the amount of One billion and 921 million, 290 thousand riyals for 64 thousand and 43 beneficiaries, and food support for the families of the poorest martyrs for the month of Rabi’ al-Awwal in the amount of five million and 660 thousand riyals, benefiting 211 people.
