America & its military dominance... wherever America goes, brings chaos, conflicts, & human rights violations
[29/ September/2023]
SANA'A September 29.2023 (Saba)-Over the past decades of American military hegemony, the entire world has seen from the “Great Satan” nothing but chaos, conflicts, wars, and violations of the sovereignty , human rights of other countries, and it has even harmed itself.

International experts believe that American military hegemony is the “greatest enemy” to humanity as a whole, because it prevents countries from exercising their sovereignty, owning their decisions, and benefiting from their wealth and capabilities, especially weak countries.

American hegemony began by violating the rights of its indigenous citizens, then expanded to violate the rights of neighboring countries, then continued its expansion to the rest of the countries of the region, and later to the rest of the vulnerable countries of the world.

Assistant Professor of Political Science at Helwan University in Egypt, Muhammad Abdel Azim Al-Shimi, said in a recent report carried by Al-Arabiya channel to the China International Television Network: “The United States has a long and bloody history of military intervention and military expansion, which has caused enormous human suffering and instability in all parts of the world.”

Deputy Director of the Center for Comprehensive European and International Studies of the Higher School of Economics at the National Research University in Moscow, Dmitry Suslov, confirms that, contrary to the theory of hegemonic stability, American military hegemony has not brought peace and stability to the entire world.

He says: “On the contrary, the so-called unipolar period was characterized by violations of international law and illegal military interventions.” Pointing out that America was seen as a superpower capable of projecting its power and influence throughout the world, but the withdrawal from Afghanistan demonstrated It is not an invincible state, and it can be defeated by determined opponents.

In this context, the Xinhua Institute, a research center affiliated with the New China News Agency, published a recent report entitled (Origins, Facts, and Dangers of American Military Hegemony), in which it revealed the damages and threats resulting from American hegemonic efforts.

Through this report, facts and data are presented, the roots of American military hegemony are traced, and how America seeks to impose, maintain, and abuse its military hegemony. It also sheds light on the dangers of American hegemonic practices.

The report stated that since 2001, America has launched wars and military operations in more than 80 countries around the world in the name of “fighting terrorism,” which directly led to the death of about 929,000 people, including 387,000 civilians, and the displacement of about 38 million people.

Commenting on this report, Ignacio Martinez Cortes, a researcher at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, says: “We see how Washington is working, today more than ever, to strengthen this military dominance, and therefore we praise the report recently prepared by Xinhua in the part that refers to military expenditures.” "The United States' military capabilities, especially in new areas of influence that Washington is increasingly trying to control."

In turn, Jaime Tamayo, professor of political science at the University of Guadalajara, said in an interview with "Xinhua": "This hegemony and the actions resulting from it put humanity in danger by keeping the threat of a new war latent and always present."

Tamayo explained that America has been in a state of war for approximately 230 years out of approximately 250 years since it became an independent country. He pointed out that this aggression is exacerbated by the fact that America has the largest military presence in the world, as it has about 750 military bases. In at least 80 countries currently, which has enabled it to launch wars and military operations within at least 25 countries.

Also in an interview with “Xinhua,” the Executive Director of the China-Africa Center at the African Policy Institute, Dennis Munene, a Kenyan researcher, confirmed that American military hegemony throughout history has sought to spread the seeds of discord, which has led to deaths and the destruction of livelihoods and the international order.

He said: "American military hegemony, which is evident in igniting wars, plundering resources, and illegally changing regimes, constitutes a threat to the survival of global civilization."

He added: "Let us put the facts in context. From the end of World War II in 1945 until 2001, about 248 armed conflicts broke out in 153 regions around the world, including about 201 conflicts started by the United States, which represents about 81 percent."

It is worth noting that on September 11, 2001, groups of hijackers seized four planes that were flying over eastern America, and used them to attack prominent buildings in New York and Washington. This incident resulted in the deaths of about three thousand people, and changed the face of history. After that, America launched its long war against terrorism... and this artificial incident, according to the analyzes of experts and international research centers, was exploited by America to attack countries, plunder and destroy their capabilities, especially in the Middle East, under the pretext of combating terrorism.
