BAYDA October 14.2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, visited Al-Bayda Governorate today, during which he opened 208 service and development projects and community initiatives at a cost of 10 billion and 74 million and 268 thousand riyals.
Where His Excellency the President, accompanied by the Deputy Prime Minister in the caretaker government - the Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, the Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, and the Chief of Staff, Major General Muhammad Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari, inaugurated 35 local and central projects in the fields of roads, education, health, water, environmental sanitation, agriculture, and institutional construction, at a cost of two billion. And 224 million and 361 thousand riyals.
Also, 69 projects for community initiatives were opened, with the contribution of the local authority in the governorate, at a cost of two billion and 499 million and 907 thousand riyals, and 104 service and development projects in the fields of roads, education, health, water, environmental sanitation, agriculture, and institutional construction, at a cost of nine million and 425 thousand dollars.
His Excellency the President expressed his happiness at visiting Al-Bayda Governorate and opening a number of service and development projects in conjunction with the Yemeni people’s celebration of the Yemeni Revolution’s holidays in September and October and the anniversary of the Prophet’s birthday in 1445 AH.
He stressed the interest of the Revolutionary Leadership and the Supreme Political Council in Al-Bayda Governorate and giving it priority in implementing projects that serve local development and contribute to improving the living conditions of citizens in light of the circumstances the country is going through as a result of the aggression and siege.
President Al-Mashat praised the positions, steadfastness, bravery and sacrifices of the people of Al-Bayda in the face of the forces of American-Saudi-Emirati aggression and its tools of agents and traitors and their participation alongside the army in defeating the Takfiri forces from the regions and districts of the governorate.
