TAIZ October 16.2023 (Saba) - His Excellency Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, Chairman of the Supreme Political Council, announced the presentation of an initiative to end all military fronts from all parties in Taiz Governorate, in a way that contributes to the stability of the governorate and spares it conflict.
President Al-Mashat indicated during an expanded meeting on Monday in Taiz Governorate, to enhance community participation in planning and implementing services in Taiz Governorate, that this initiative is to stop all military fronts, neutralize the governorate, and administer Taiz Governorate with joint management by everyone.
He expressed his thanks to all the proud sons and fathers of Taiz who are present along all fronts in the governorates of the Republic of Yemen, and on all educational, cultural, construction and renaissance.
President Al-Mashat pointed out that Taiz is targeted to exhaust the state of ambition and aspiration of the people of the governorate, known for its culture and creativity, who have the largest share in building this country, but unfortunately, the people of Taiz are still being targeted in their presence, and this is one of the paths of the aggression countries.
He said, "We have been following the governorate's situation since the first day of the aggression, and we tried with all our efforts to spare the governorate from conflict. We made every effort, but unfortunately, those attempts were rejected."
He added, "We later responded positively to all the attempts put forward by many philanthropists and many endeavors. We responded positively out of our desire to spare Taiz Governorate all the scourges of conflict and wars."
President Al-Mashat stated that those who follow the situation in the governorate realize that there is bad and negative exploitation of the situation inside the city of Taiz, as a result of bad management and the implementation of the agendas of the enemy who does not care about the citizen, stressing that there is a strong keenness on the part of the enemy to maintain chaos within the areas under its control and to destroy everything that is related to human.
He continued, "We are from here, and in order to prove that they are bidding, and that they do not care about the citizen's affairs, but rather they are only exploiting the citizen's situation, we present this initiative that ends all military fronts from all parties, stabilizes the governorate, and avoids conflict."
President Al-Mashat said, "But we present the argument and expose them more," adding, "O sons of Taiz, do not expect from a greedy sell-out or from a mercenary who cares for a homeland. This is a selling mercenary who does not care about the matter of the homeland or the order of the citizen."
He stressed that the solution is through a sound and correct assessment of the past period, and the nine years are sufficient and above sufficient to reach an inevitable result for everyone who has the slightest thought or feeling that there is no solution except with unity of word and position from everyone.
His Excellency the President went on to say, "We are facing an enemy that is only aware of strength, and strength is created by unity of position and unity of speech, as is the case with you, honorable people, in Taiz Governorate."
