DAMASCUS November 13. 2023 (Saba) - Missile shelling has targeted the US military base in Coneco Gas Field, northeast Syria, al-Mayadeen reported on Monday, as the shelling comes in reprisal to US offensive on the two cities of Mayadeen and Al-Bokmal in Deir ez-Zor.
The public resistance bombed the US base with 15 missiles, targeting the base command headquarters in the gas field, al-Mayadeen quoted local sources as saying.
American helicopters left Coneco base less than ten minutes after the bombing, the sources added, as the planes "likely transported casualties from the base."
The US base was targeted with advanced Grad missiles, that left four soldiers killed, according to the sources.
"The American raid targeted a private house in Mayadeen City, leaving one civilian martyred and another wounded."
The resistance's second response was in the form of targeting the US base hosted by al-Shadadi in Hasaka, northeast Syria, using three UAVs, the sources added, as "the drones reached their targets."
In Iraq, the Islamic resistance targeted the US occupation's base in the Green Village, deep in Syria, with help of a drone that hit its target.
