RAMALLAH December 05. 2023 (Saba) - The Palestinian Ministry of Communications has said that communications services (land phone, cellular, and Internet) in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip were deliberately interrupted for the fourth time in light of the continued Zionist-American aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In a statement carried by the Palestinian Ma'an News Agency, Executive Director of the Telecommunications Sector Authority Laith Daraghmeh called on international bodies and unions to respond to the warnings issued previously to ensure the continuation of communications and Internet services in light of the worsening humanitarian conditions and the intensification of the Zionist enemy's bombing of the Gaza Strip.
Daraghmeh stressed that communication with international and international bodies and institutions continues, but the occupation insists on ignoring previous interventions.
He said the international community must provide serious guarantees that services will not be cut off again, and maintain comprehensive access to communications and Internet services for citizens, medical institutions, and journalist crews.
