[18/ December/2023]
SANA'A December 18. 2023 (Saba) - Head of the national negotiating delegation Muhammad Abdulsalam has confirmed that the Yemeni position towards Palestine stems from a religious, national and moral principle.

Abdulsalam explained in a statement to al-Masirah channel that Yemen considers “Israel” a threat to the nation as peoples and countries, and it is a real threat to the unity of the Islamic nation.

He said "The Yemeni operations have a major economic impact on the Israeli enemy, and are an argument for the countries of the Islamic world."

Abdulsaalam pointed out that there is communication with active and influential countries, and the goal is to achieve the declared goals of lifting the siege on Gaza and stopping the aggression against it.

He stressed that the Palestinian issue is not negotiable, and we cannot accept what is happening against the people of Gaza.

Abdulsalam added “Any actions undertaken by the Yemeni armed forces are related to lifting the siege on Gaza and stopping the aggression against it, and our operations target “Israeli” ships connected to the occupied ports only.”

He continued "If the aggression countries want to stop naval operations against the Israeli enemy, they must lift the siege on Gaza and bring in food and medicine for it."

Abdulsalam stressed that the Red Sea is safe for maritime navigation, except for ships linked to the Israeli enemy, praising the position of the Chinese company to stop sending its ships to the ports of the occupying entity.
