HODEIDA December 28. 2023 (Saba)-The Deputy Prime Minister of the caretaker government for economic affairs,Finance Minister , Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum, Defense Ministers , Major General Mohammed Al-Atifi and Interior Minister , Major General Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, today,Thursday, toured the Red Sea, during which they were briefed on stationed members conditions of naval forces on the West Coast.
Abu Lahoum, Al-Atefi, and Al-Houthi, along with the head of the Security and Intelligence Service, Major General Abdul Hakim Al-Khaiwani, the Chief of the General Staff, Major General Muhammad Abdul Karim Al-Ghamari, the Commander of the Central Region, Major General Abdul Khaleq Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, and the Commander of the Fifth Military Region, Major General Yousef Hassan Al-Madani, inspected the Coast Guard Police's members' conditions.
Together with Interior Deputy Minister , Major General Abdul Majeed Al-Murtada, the Inspector General of Interior Ministry of , Major General Abdullah Al-Hadi, and the Head of the Coast Guard Department, Major General Shaher Al-Qahum, they listened from the Commander of the Naval Forces, Marine Staff Major General Muhammad Fadl Abdul Nabi, to an explanation about the overall tasks that were carried out and the successes that were achieved to impose sovereignty. National operations on all Yemeni coasts, as well as operations related to preventing ships passage of the Israeli entity or those associated with it or heading to it.
The visitors praised the high morale and combat readiness of naval forces members , including “commanders, officers, non-commissioned officers, and individuals,” appreciating their heroic role in the battle to support the Palestinians and break the siege imposed on them.
They pointed out that the successes achieved by the Yemeni naval forces, with their various types and formations, are the result of hard work and sincere leadership that restored Yemen’s sovereignty and independence.
The visitors stressed that the visit came to inspect the readiness of the naval forces , their members and their preparations for any escalation by the American enemy and the Zionist entity.
