MOSCOW January 09. 2024 (Saba) - Reconnaissance units of the "West" group of forces of the Russian army destroyed a command and control center belonging to the Ukrainian forces on the Kubyansk axis.
The Russia Today website quoted the Russian Ministry of Defense in a statement today, saying, “The main task of the Fagot system crew is to work accurately and quickly.
The enemy was conducting surveillance from exactly this point - Kubyansk - for the sake of convenience and mobility, so Russian reconnaissance units installed the Fagot system on an all-terrain vehicle, which allowed them to overcome difficult terrain in quick time.”
The Ministry explained that before the hostilities, and during reconnaissance of the area using a drone in the Kubyansk axis, a camouflaged command and control center for the Ukrainian forces was exposed, two kilometers from the location of Russian Armed Forces fighters.
For his part, the division commander, nicknamed “The Elephant,” said: “Every day we shoot at the enemy. The militants dig trenches, especially at night. We monitor them with thermal imaging devices... Now all traces of the enemy’s movement are observed much better. For example, we monitor the movement of Vehicles, and we monitor the whereabouts and hiding of enemy forces and where everything belonging to them is stationed.”
On Sunday, the Ministry of Defense announced the elimination of more than 50 enemy soldiers, two troop carriers and three vehicles in the Kubyansk axis in one day.
