World stands watching Zionist genocidal war in Gaza
[10/ February/2024]
SANA'A February 10. 2024 (Saba) - The Zionist enemy continues its massacres and genocide against civilians in Gaza Strip in light of the world's shameful silence regarding what is happening in the Strip, including the killing children, women , the elderly, and the destruction of houses on the heads of their residents.

The Zionist enemy entity is committing all kinds of atrocities through the full support it enjoys from the United States of America and the West, in light of absolute Arab and international silence regarding what is happening, and without any real direction towards an immediate ceasefire and the delivery of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza Strip.

The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said in a blog post recently published on its account on the "X" platform: "The world cannot stand by while the children of Gaza Strip are now dead and deprived, with living conditions that are rapidly deteriorating."

UNICEF added: "Gaza's children are now facing violence from the air and deprivation on the ground."

It stressed that "thousands of children in Gaza have already been killed in hostilities, while the living conditions of the surviving children continue to rapidly deteriorate."

The UN said: “The world cannot stand by and watch. This must stop.”
But it seems that the entire world is ignoring the calls and appeals of international and humanitarian organizations regarding war crimes, mass killings and genocide carried out by Netanyahu and his gang in the Gaza Strip, the abuse of civilians, the systematic destruction of the Strip, and the prevention of aid from entering Gaza.

For 122 days, the Zionist enemy army has launched a devastating and barbaric aggression against Gaza Strip, during which it destroyed most of the residential neighborhoods on top of their residents.

Since the seventh of last October, it has killed over 27,365 Palestinian citizens, most of them children and women, and injured more than 66,630 others, while more are still occurring. More than eight thousand people are missing under the rubble and on the roads, as the enemy prevents ambulance crews from reaching them.

Arab and Western capitals and cities witnessed unprecedented marches and demonstrations in years denouncing the Zionist aggression against Gaza Strip.

But this aggression exposed international double standards and double standards by Western countries, led by the United States of America.

The Palestinian issue, which seemed to have been forgotten, has once again returned to the forefront of the international scene , to the heart of political debate, it is still capable of influencing public opinion and mobilizing peoples and communities around the world.

Analysts say that the Palestinian-Zionist conflict cannot be separated from its general context, as the Palestinians have been suffering for decades under the burden of occupation , deprivation of rights, and the residents of Gaza live under siege in the largest open-air prison in the world, in light of the vast disparity in the balance of military power between the two sides. The absence of any political horizon for resolving the conflict.

They believe that the conflict in Gaza has led to Europe being torn apart in many ways, with emotions inflamed by feelings of historical guilt and injustice, across the multiple identities of Europeans themselves.

The first response of the European Union institutions revealed divided leadership, and angry reactions emerged to the visit made by both the President of the European Commission and the President of the European Parliament to the occupied Palestinian territories and the meeting with Zionist officials, which was considered biased and inconsistent with traditional European Union diplomacy.

On the other hand, the positions of African countries differ, as the overwhelming majority of these countries voted in the United Nations in favor of resolutions calling for a ceasefire for humanitarian reasons in Gaza.

The United Nations General Assembly adopted a non-binding resolution calling for a humanitarian truce, after 120 countries voted in favor of the resolution, 14 countries opposed it, and 45 countries abstained from voting.

An analytical study prepared by Development Reimagined reported that more than a third of the countries that voted in favor of the resolution (numbering 39 countries) were African, while only six African countries abstained from voting, and no African country voted against the resolution.

In an exceptional case compared to the rest of the countries of the world, South Africa, which suffered under the settler-colonial project under the apartheid system, had an honorable position on the Palestinian issue. It filed a lawsuit before the International Court of Justice against the Zionist enemy entity on the charge of “the crime of genocide and its punishment in the Gaza Strip."

It is officially called the Application of the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide in Gaza Strip, which is a lawsuit filed by South Africa at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, Netherlands on December 29, 2023.

The pleading, supported by documents, is 84 pages in English, and provides evidence of condemnation of the Zionist enemy entity for seeking genocide against the Palestinians in Gaza Strip.

The lawsuit also initially asks the court to provide temporary protection measures for the Palestinians.

Since the start of the aggression against Gaza Strip on October 7, the administration of US President Joe Biden has fully supported the Zionist aggression against the Strip. At a time when the aggression has entered its fifth month against Gaza Strip, Washington will provide about $14.1 billion in security aid to the Zionist enemy entity.

Since the start of the aggression against Gaza on October 7, Washington has previously provided military aid from its stores in the Zionist enemy entity amounting to millions of dollars and sent military experts in actual participation in the killing and abuse of Palestinians in the Strip.
