ISLAMABAD February 13. 2024 (Saba) - Pakistan strongly has condemned the Zionist aggression against the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, adding the Zionist enemy was "violating" the procedures ordered by the International Court of Justice last month.
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry explained in a statement that "this will further exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe that Gaza has witnessed in the past four months and threaten the ongoing efforts to reach a possible ceasefire."
Islamabad urged the international community, especially the UN Security Council, to take “urgent measures to put an immediate end to the Zionist aggression and its ongoing crimes against humanity.”
The Pakistani Foreign Ministry said in its statement that "the attack in Rafah violates the interim measures decided by the International Court of Justice last month aimed at protecting the people of Gaza from genocide."
On January 26, the International Court of Justice announced its preliminary decisions in the case brought by South Africa within the framework of the 1948 Genocide Convention.
Since last October 7, the Zionist enemy has launched a devastating aggression against the Gaza Strip that has so far left, in an infinite toll, “28,340 martyrs and 67,984 wounded,” most of them children and women, in addition to thousands of people missing under the rubble.
